Call to Action: Neighborhood Councils May Lose All Funding

Neighborhood Council budgets are in danger of total elimination today (2/1)! The City Council Budget and Finance Committee is meeting Monday, February 1st at 1pm. Read more.

Los Angeles CAO Miguel Santana is expected to propose the total elimination of neighborhood council budget allocations plus the sweeping of all rollover funds.

Please contact your City representatives and tell them to continue funding our local governments! At risk are important programs such as:

FALL FESTIVAL
SUPPORT FOR LOCAL SCHOOLS
MAR VISTA PARK AMENITIES
MAR VISTA LIBRARY
OUR PUBLIC STAIRS
LAPD EXPLORER PROGRAM
SAVING OUR HISTORIC FS 62
GREENING MAR VISTA
EXTRA GRAFFITTI REMOVAL
