- About Me:
- For twelve years, I have helped people honor their souls by healing their bodies. I work with an understanding of how the body is connected to the mind and the spirit. I teach gymnastics, yoga and practice bodywork with emphasis on awareness of bodymind and emotions, process, self-expression, and resources.
I teach flow yoga classes in Mar Vista with a combination of depth and lightness. I teach kids teen and adults in very affordable classes at the Mar Vista Rec Center. The goal is harmony in the present moment: a state of radiant flow, ever dancing balance, and freedom.
I also have a Somatic Therapy practice in Mar Vista. This type of private sessions is done on a bodywork table (most often) with clothes on. Touch and words are used to remove blockages in the body, cognition, energy and emotions. The system relaxes, returns to a place of possibility and strength, and accesses wisdom and peace that it may have forgotten. These sessions are helpful in resolving symptoms of trauma, in dealing with chronic illness, and for psychological conditions. Healing is often quickened when we enlist our power across all planes and bring the physical body, heart, thoughts and spirit together for a healing wish.
