Thank you!

The paradox of improved field facilities like these synthetic soccer fields is that they typically get fenced off and locked up; opened only to groups by permit...thereby diminishing the public ball fields available to our kids in our city.

My field spaces project received a small grant in 2007. Our Park Study Report field spaces presentation is at the UCLA School of Public Affairs, tomorrow, Thursday, May 29, 2008, 4:30PM in the Faculty Lounge, 5th floor [south end of the building].

This is the hard work of two groups of high school students from Animo South Charter High School and High School for the Recording Arts (HSRA). These kids took time to go out and survey the facilities in their neighborhoods. They will present their findings.

There will be signs on the 5th floor. Free parking: Enter UCLA at the Wyton Gate off Hilgard and tell the kiosk staff you are attending the ‘Park Study Event’.

You and John are welcome to attend if you have the time.

Thanks James. As you can see, I haven't been diligent at checking in on the site. Will try and find time now and then. Hope you're well.
