Sustainable Health Care event
I see that Anita has already raised the idea of an health fair. I am a Reiki practitioner, teach yoga at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center in Marina del Rey, and am part of Transition Mar Vista (transitionmarvista@blogspot.com). Transition Mar Vista is planning a Sustainable Health Care event on Halloween weekend. One goal of the event is to connect health practitioners in Mar Vista. Another goal is to envision what health care will be like maybe 30 years into the future when we cannot rely so heavily on oil. For part of the event, practitioners can set up tables and offer 10-minute sessions to share what they do with other practitioners and the public. The event is in planning stages. We would like to distribute an informational invitation widely, maybe by the end of June.

I have info like that from Bruce Dickson, from WHCC i am also creating. I have about 4 people already. Looking for 3 more to do a mini day as such.
